Mood: Pretty good.
Listening to: Achievement Hunters play Minecraft; the Galacticraft episodes. They are hilarious.

So, a week ago, after about two months of not working, I worked. Yay. While at work I took the round to see what new stuff we had gotten in and stuff. I found Delicate Touch Exfoliating Foot Sock. It’s a foot mask treatment that will make your skin slide right off. OK, that’s a gross overstatement. It removes hard skin/calluses over time.

So, on Monday I put the socks on and left them on for a little over an hour, and then I rinsed it off with water, like it said in the directions.
I was expecting something… but nothing happened. For days nothing happened.
Then yesterday, while I was putting on socks before going to work, I saw skin lose under my feet. It looked like I had had a blister and it had emptied. I could feel something under my feet the whole time I was at work, and when I came home and went to bed I found out why. There was so much skin… it was flaking of like mad.

So at the moment my heels are flakey. I can’t wait for all the skin to finish flaking and my feet to be baby-butt smooth (please to disregard my ugly, broken shoes. I need new ones, and I haven’t had the time to look for new ones in Sweden.).
It looks like I’ve got an illness of some sort, but it’s fine. It doesn’t hurt. But you get the idea. I’ll keep you guys updated in my feet… I’ll try to remember to post something on Monday, one week after.

Mood: Tired, also feeling hungry, even though that’s not a mood.
Listening to: Matthew Santoro’s Vlog on youtube. He’s a funny guy. Check out his main one.. not the one with 2 behind it. It’s an easier way to get to know him and he has loads of informative videos on his main channel. His 2 channel is for vlogs, so unless you want to listen to him talk about his private life, then stick to the main channel. I find the vlogs interesting, so I have the 2 channel on in the background while I do stuff.. Like blog.. 🙂

So, what else is new?
Well, not a whole lot. Well, of course there are news, but ugh. i
It’s just a whole thing going on.. with my mother. Or, she’s out of it now, but yeah. She went to Turkey in April or May… she’s been gone for a long time, and well, things get hazy. She has problems with her knees, and the heat helps sooth the pain. She rented a place down there for really cheap, amazingly so, really. And her new boyfriend, or should I say love interest…. stayed with her. He’s a Turkey native, works at a bar etc. He’s also my age, which is in his 30’s.
From what I can tell my mother has been having a wonderful time down there, also trying to get her new business off the ground; Psychic.
The other day she called me because I had asked if her brother and sister was going to turn up for her 60th birthday celebration. We’re having it on the 9th of August…like a collaborative thing my birthday and hers…. and she said she’s call them and let me know.. because I need to know how many will turn up so that we can order meat. Ringstad marinated beef is to DIE for!! Honestly.
So she called me letting me know her sister will be on vacation and that her brother would be visiting their mum, but they might turn up. They would think about it and let us know.
And then she said she has rented a new apartment. And I asked why. And she said that her bit of stuff had beaten her, that he had come home from work, mad as hell and just stated hitting her…. and he broke off three of her finger nails.
So she needed a new place to stay cause she wouldn’t be dealing with that piece of walking feces anymore. That night I didn’t sleep well. I kept thinking what a sadistic piece of shit he is for breaking off finger nails… not to mention hitting her. So the next day, which was last Saturday, I sent a text message asking her if she was OK and she said yeah.. she was just waiting for him to leave for work so that she could pack her things and get the hell out of there. She said she’d keep me posted… Later in the evening she called me and said she was at her new place and that she was safe. She told me the name of the town, but there was interference on the line so I didn’t catch it. Doesn’t really matter, tho. She knows where she is, he doesn’t… THAT’S what matters. And anyway.. she has friends there that are protective of her.

Anyway…
Jan and I, this is like a month ago or so.. almost.. give or take a week… went to Bergen to pick up some furniture mum gave me. Two couches; a three seater and a two seater, a recliner and two tables.. one coffee table and a side table.
So we had to hire a large van to put things in. We tried AVIS, who wanted a ridiculous amount of money for renting us the van.. and Hertz. Hertz were way more reasonable. They wanted a set amount for renting the car and then an additional 3 kr or so for every extra mile.
All in all the trip; renting the car, paying for storage, gasoline and toll booth charges.. it all came to around 7500 kr ($1150 and 750 euro (aprox price.. I don’t know what the dollar and euro is in right now… )).
So, we saved about double that on getting the furniture rather than getting new ones.
As for the livingroom.. it’s coming together. We’ve got walls, a ceiling and soon a floor. We started putting the floor in on Saturday.. and yesterday I was hurting so bad. I’m not used to doing things, so my muscles are all “What the hell have you done to us??”
What else..
When we were in Bergen we stayed at my dad’s place. It was so lovely to visit them, even though it was just for one day.. well, not even that.
But we had a nice BBQ and enjoyed ourselves. I’m really looking forward to them coming to visit in August. I bought a game called “Idiot knowledge” and it’s about knowing the answers to not text book questions. Or should I say it’s about everything you didn’t learn in school. I think I might be good at this game because I have a lot of things in my head and none of them are things I learned in school… OK, disregard that.. lol. I just realized I’m writing in English.. which I learned in school. 😛

I also bought a game on Steam. They are having their summer sale right now. I saw that “Don’t Starve” was 75% off, so I got it. Later I heard that games that are on sale now can be even cheaper later, but this is the first Steam sale I’m attending.. so I’ll just stay away from Steam.. so I won’t know if it’s been sold for cheaper than that.

So yeah..
That’s what’s been happening in my life. I won’t say that I’ll write more often, because that won’t happen.
I have been thinking about writing this entry ever since I got home from Bergen… which was May 29th. I even took some lovely pictures on the way.. I haven’t bothered to download them from my phone. They are just landscape photos. Mountains and waterfalls. I’ll see if I can be bothered one day..

Mood: Odd, I told you..
Listening to: Music, for a change. I started listening to Robbie Williams and then I migrated to Blink 182 and right now I’m listening to Pet Shop Boys – Always on my mind. I love that song. It’s so 80’s.

Yeah, I don’t know why I’m in an odd mood, but it’s not a bad odd.. it’s a good odd. I feel inspired to do something, but I don’t know what that something is. Maybe I’ll try to write something. Maybe that’s why I’m here right now.
It’s also been an odd weather today. Started up sunny, and we knew we’d get a thunderstorm later.. and I found a new website that tracks lightning strikes all over the world.. I was looking at that, having a 30 second update thing going. I wanted to know just how bad it’d be.. if I needed to unplug everything to save things from being broken. I don’t want to repeat last year. And I was checking the Swedish weather thing, cause apparently it’s better than the ones we have. Oh well… The thunderstorm came.. and it didn’t even really come close enough for us to worry.
Speaking of things in the sky… Tomorrow we’re heading into the tail of a comet, so there’ll be a meteor storm. Only problem is.. it’s between 8am and 10am.. It’s not going to stop me from looking, tho.

What else…
Two days ago I went with a good friend of mine to get one of her tattoos covered up. The tattoo artist did an AMAZING job…. and I’ve realized that having a unicorn tattoo isn’t really that cool. I mean.. It’s not the traditional unicorn… but I don’t know… I don’t regret getting it, it’s just… I don’t know. I want a big purple rose instead.
I don’t know… Maybe I’ll keep it and get a big purple rose somewhere else.
I can see how it was too.. Suddenly I had the money for it.. and this rub-on tattoo thing that looked cool… Oh well.

Now I’m going to check out Adventure Bits on Youtube. I see Morgan has made a new update. Have to see how he handles Blight Town..

So, yeah. Happy Easter.
We’ve been busy putting up a new ceiling in half the room we’re renovating. It looks so nice. SO nice.
I also made  Easter Island Minecraft thing on Minecraft. There is so little traffic on the GameFront server I might as well play on single player. If I had my ps3 plugged in I’d play that. But Jan hasn’t plugged it up yet, so I’ll wait.
Speaking of Jan. He was supposed to have the night off. But the guy who was supposed to work called him last night and said he was “sick”. I suspect that the guy was party sick. I did the drawn out “mmmmhm” when Jan told me and he said that he was really stuffed up. Yeah, well… you can work even if you’re stuffed up. You sit in a room all night and watch TV. You can do that if you have a cold. Hell, you can even go to work with pneumonia. If I can do it, so can you. But I guess younger men these days, at least the ones Jan work with, are a bunch of babies not willing to pull their weight, waiting for someone to do things for them and complain about everything. Like if there’s a big cleanup planned they’ll bitch about having to actually DO things rather than just doing the job they are actually PAYED to do. But I guess they’d rather sit on their ass and click away on their cell phones… and then bitch about being told off about that exact thing. Work ethics isn’t what it used to be. It used to be that when someone of higher authority told you to do something you did it. But now it seems, since also the foreman has the spine of a jelly fish, they can bitch about it and be let off from doing it. It pisses me off. If Jan had been made foreman, a job that, in my eyes at least, was rightfully his, this shit wouldn’t have happened. That shift would be running smoothly instead of having bitchy ass punks ruining it for everyone… and themselves. But of course, Jan isn’t a ass kiss kind of a guy. He’ll tell you the truth to your face instead of sugar coating it. I guess the higher ups don’t like that. I guess they like their asses kissed. It doesn’t hurt, either, to have a father working with the higher ups. It’ll get you the job, sure, but I don’t know if it’ll help you keep it if you can’t do the job you got.
Boy did they ever screw up on that choice. Big time. At least now, maybe, they’ll see. Oh man. What I wouldn’t give to have them sat in a room and lecture them about poor judgement. It would be so sweet.

Rant over. So yeah. Jan had to work last night because the other guy was “sick”. And we’re having a BBQ later on. Which reminds me. I have to make the onion salad thing that’s so good. I should finish up. AND I need to use the bathroom. On noes. I’ve ranted too long! Nooooooo

So, my mum told me she’d give me some money when the money she got for the apartment came though. And we’ve waited.
So last Sunday I called her because she was leaving for Turkey on Monday. That’s when she told me she had put the money in my account a week earlier. She just forgot to tell me. -_-
So, while I was talking to her on the phone I was ordering the new one.
It’s a glorious, white and really nice Sony Xperia Z1. It’s so much better than the Arc I had. The poor old girl was on her last legs. I couldn’t do updates because she was too full of crap. So I’ve got a fast phone now. =D
I also got Lord of the Rings Lego for the ps3. But since Jan disconnected the ps3 and haven’t put it back, I haven’t been able to play it yet. I was hoping to play tomorrow, but chances looks dim. Because.. I’ve already asked him, and I don’t want to nag. He’s got enough on his mind.
Anyway. I think I’m going to buy a bottle of Captain Morgan, spiced gold and a new bottle of Sambuca. It is Easter soon, and it’s a chance to get drunk. XD
I have to remember to get ice.
I also want to go to Askim to buy some clothes. There are some new tops I REALLY want. We’ll see next week.
But now I’ll see the rest of this episode and then I’ll go to bed. My ear is hurting, and I hope I’m not getting an ear infection.

I had a ton of dreams last night. I mean wow. At first there were kittens stepping in paint.. or one of them did. And the white one listened to me when I told her not to step in paint and to show me her paws to show me she hadn’t. <.<
Then there was the ghost in my dad’s bedroom. There was this dude in bed with a tablet for a pillow, and the ghost was poltergeisting him, dragging him out of bed and so forth. And I was telling the ghost to leave. Over and over. And then I told him to give back Jan, and suddenly his hand shot out of the bed cover sea and I saved him.
Needless to say I woke up from this dream and my face felt pretty hot. So I must have worked hard or ,subconsciously, felt embarrassed. It took some time for me to get back to sleep again. “We’re not gonna take it” was looping in my head.
When I finally got back to sleep I had a dream about Ryan Haywood from Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunters. We were driving around, talking about his love for his wife.
Yeah, I have no idea. Really, I don’t. I get the ghost thing, I think, because I watched a “Are ghosts real” from a scientific point of view last night.
And the kittens with the paint. I think that might have, also, been a clip of twin kids doing a paint footprints up a wall prank. one kid steals a purse, the purse owner calls for help and a guy runs to her aid. The kid runs around a corner and hides and his twin is on the top of a building with shoe prints up the wall.. and the aid guy is all “what the heeeeell?”
The Rooster Teeth/AH thing might be because I watch their Minecraft show before bedtime. Everything else is just vivid imagination.

So, there’s been a think I’ve been wondering about for ages. Why do people hate Phil Collins? You know.. from Genesis.
When Genesis started up Peter Gabriel was the lead singer. The band did some weird prog-rock thing. Gabriel came on stage dressed in strange costumes.
Anyway… Gabriel and the band grew apart and they all decided that Gabriel should leave the band, and he agreed. After a lot, and I do mean a lot, of searching for a person to replace Gabriel and not finding anyone, Collins took the part of lead singer. They followed the prog-rock genre, but eventually decided on regular pop. It’s not like Gabriel and Collins hated each other; Collins helped Gabriel on one of his albums getting a new drum sound or something. And it’s not like Gabriel didn’t strike it big after he left Genesis.
Genesis might not be the greatest band in the world, but you can’t say that there isn’t a song they have that you won’t sing along to when it’s on the radio. OR a song Collins solo’s that you won’t air drum to (“In the air tonight”).
So why hate? I don’t get it. If they are fine with what happened, why can’t we be?

Ick. Dust gatherer. That and the tarp thing which also has been hiding behind newer chip boards etc…

So you see the lovely light green which we had on the walls before. We’re hoping we’ll end up with white ones this time. When looking at what lays behind you kinda wonder what on earth they were thinking, picking colors for the walls. This was the walls they had to live with. Lilac.. and further into the room, where there was originally another room, there’s pink! As much as I like pink I don’t think I’d like it on my walls…

That’s about it, really, for what’s going on. Of course there’s Minecraft, but nothing much has changed there.

My nails have turned to shit, for some reason. I thought it was iron deficiency, and it still might be it.. I started taking iron tablets and I haven’t seen a change…
I know, I know. I have to take them longer than a week or so. And nails will have to grow out before you see a change. But ugh. I want my nails to be nice-ish again. I have this really kick ass nail decal decor thing, and I need long nails for it to look good. And we have started eating more green veggies or veggies in general. I don’t know.
I’m sure my nails won’t get any better as long as we’re doing this room stuff… but on the other hand I don’t have work for any foreseeable future, which sucks, but they will, maybe, not splinter and get all manky.
Why I don’t have work, you ask. There are reasons. Like people getting hours I should have had, rightfully, if seniority worked properly. And the firm wanting to save money, which I understand. It’s just frustrating. I just want to work and earn money. I want tattoos and a license.. and a car. So I seriously need to win the lottery. That’s the only way I can see me getting the money I need. And if I get the money I need, I don’t need to work.
Well, that took a dark turn. Maybe I should do some dishes or something instead of wallowing in my worklessness. Sometimes being a temp sucks.
