Jeg tror det hjalp å sutre om ikke å få praksis plass.. XD
Jeg var innom Nille på Morenen idag og spurte om de hadde praksis plass til meg, og jeg sa at de ikke skulle betale noen ting, at hvis det var noe hun lurte på kunne hun bare snakke med Kari, Fryd sjefen. Og hun, sjefen på Nille, ringte meg litt senere og sa at jeg var hjertelig velkommen.
Det er SÅNN det skal gjøres… ikke bare si “nei” og ferdig med den saken.. lol
Nå skal jeg ærlig si at veldig mange av de jeg har snakket med har vært veldig hyggelig å snakke med, åpen etc. men kunne ikke pga lite  å gjøre.
Så på Mandag skal jeg tilbake, ta meg av bagateller og så starter jeg på Tirsdag =D

Altså… Jeg vet at jeg kanskje ikke har vært så lur som jeg burde ha vært når det gjelder den praksis plassen jeg skal ha, men altså… at det skal være så vanskelig å finne seg en praksis plass da! Nå har jeg vært på Frøken Fryd, jeg visste allerede at sjangsene var små siden de allerede har en på utplassering fra NAV…
Galleri 22,  har egentlig ikke fått definitivt avslag, men siden Doritet ( en på gruppen min) hadde vært innom før meg og hun hadde sagt ifra til butikkdama at hun tok heller en annen praksis plass med garantert jobb etterpå, så tok hun heller den, men jeg var fortsatt interessert… men da takken butikkdamen nei… Men.. jeg vet liksom ikke helt om.. ja, you know… Om jeg stikker innom der på Mandag og snakker med henne, kanskje? Hvis jeg da ikke får napp på Nille før den tid da. Må på Morenen en liten tur imorgen for å høre med gullhandelen, hobbybutikken, dyrebutikken og Nille. Men hvis tidligere erfaring skal være en indikasjon på hvordan det kommer til å gå, så for jeg nei nei nei nei…
Det er bare 8 uker det er snakk om. Jeg får lønn fra NAV. Jeg kan jobbe på lageret i 8 uker om det trengs.. JEG TRENGER EN PRAKSIS PLASS I 8 UKER FÅR Å FÅ FULLFØRT KURSET!!!! DX
Tror feilen jeg gjorde var at jeg bare tok “små” butikker. Det er så lite å gjøre, så folk sloss om å få tatt seg av de kundene som er. Og det skjønner jeg jo. Jeg forventer heller ikke å få fast ansettelse etter de 8 ukene heller. Bare så lenge jeg får fullført kurset så…
Ugh, at det skal være så vanskelig.  Men jeg legger restriksjoner på meg selv også. Jeg har ikke interesse av å jobbe med klær. Jeg er ikke komfortable med det. Og planter… det er vel egentlig i plantenes interesse at jeg ikke jobber med dem…   Ja, jeg har pøvd bokhandel. Notabene hadde for få kunder (den i Mysen) og den på Morenen… butikksjef er syk og har nok ikke fått papirene, eller har ikke fått tatt noen avgjørelse om hun har det, og det går greit. Så da prøvde jeg Libris… men de har avtale med videregående om at de skal ha utplasseringer derfra…

Er det meg, mon tro? Lukter jeg vondt?? Ser  jeg så fæl ut?

Like… I know I haven’t been the smartest when it comes to getting myself an internship place thingie, but really now. It shouldn’t be THIS hard to get an internship place thingie. I’ve been to the old place where I worked, but seeing as they have someone placed there from the unemployment office or whatever, I knew my chanses were slim.
And I went to another store that opens on Monday.. and talked to the manager and she was very positiv. And a few days after I had been there she sent me a text saying that someone else from my course had been there before me and that she’d rather use her. So I talked to the girls at the course and it turned ou tit was Doritet, but she got an internship at a different store where she will deffo get work this summer… so she sent a text to the woman at the store and said she got another job, and that I was still interested in working there, and the store lady said no… but I don’t know…maybe I should visit her on Monday and MAKE her give me intern there… >.<
If I don’t get anything tomorrow at the mini mall near here, I guess I could do that. I have to go there tomorrow to ask around. The jewlers, hobby shop, pet store and Nille is next.  But if earlier experiences should be any indications I’ll get no no no and no…

It’s just 8 weeks… I get pay from the unemplyment office. it won’t cost you a thing… I can work in the back the whole 8 weeks if need be. I JUST NEED 8 WEEKS INTERN TO GET THE COURSE DIPLOMA!!!! DX
The error I made was to hit all the “small” stores first. They don’t have much to do now.. so it’ll be a fist fight to get to take care of the costumers… And I get that… I don’t even expect to get hired after the 8 weeks. Just as long as I get the course diploma, I’ll be happy.
Irch… it’s all so tricky… And I do put restrictions on myself.. I know I do.. I’m not intersted in working with clothes.. I’m not comfortable with it.. and plants… well, it’s better for the plants if I don’t work with them.. poor plants…

And yes, I’ve tried book stores. One was too small, one had a different deal with a high school… and one I haven’t heard from. But people are allowed to be sick, and I don’t expect her to busy herself with my troubles when she’s sick.

So… is it me? Do I smell bad? Do I look that hideous?

1. Jeg kan ikke ha fine ting. Jeg fikk min nydelige rosa Sony Ericsson w595 igår… og idag klarte jeg å ødelegge den.. Ikke sånn at den ikke funker lengre, men den har noen små riper og bulker her og der.. og skjermen har en liten sprekk…
Den funker jo og er like bra… bare ikke så fin som den var i morges…
2. Damen jeg var hos forleden dag og spurte om jeg kunne få praksis plass hos sendte meg en sms imorges og sa at hun hadde plukket en annen som gikk på samme kurs som meg… Jeg snakket med de som jeg går på kurs med, og ingen av de hadde vært der.. bortsett fra Dori, men hun sa hun var der for 2 uker siden og hadde ikke hørt noen ting…
Så man lurer jo på da, om det er en av de på det andre kurset som har vært der… Time will tell…
3. Jan går i oppløsning 🙁
For ca en uke siden knakk han en for tann… og idag mistet han deler av den andre fortannen… (den har knekt allerede og var limt, støpt og drillet på plass fra før)…
og for å toppe det hele… så måtte jeg GÅ til biblioteket imorges… bare for å finne ut at vi egentlig skulle møte nede ved jernbane stasjonen…. Ekstra mye gåing… Uhørt…
Men Adrian (kurs leder) sa at, som plaster på såret, skulle han lage sjokolade kake til oss…

Men ja… Glad og fornøyd som jeg vangligvis er… blir jo bare litt deppa da… kanskje jeg trenger sjokolade… :3
Jeg har andre steder i tankene da… håper jeg treffer på en av dem…

Mood: Was annoyed, but after norwegian venting, I’m calmer.. lol

1. I don’t deserve to have nice things. I got a brand new peachy pink sony ericsson yesterday.. and today I dropped it on the ground and now it got scratches and bumps, and the screen is a little cracked… It’s fully functional and all that, so no worries… it’s just blemishes…
2. The lady from the store where I wanted my internship thing sent me a text message this morning, saying that another girl from the same course came by and that she’d rather use her even though she liked what I had to offer.  So I asked the girls in my course if any of them had been in there and only one had, but that was two weeks ago and she hadn’t heard anything from her. So, that leaves the other group at the course…. and… I think I’ll stop there… less said the better, me thinks…
3. My Jan is falling apart 🙁
He broke one of his front teeth the other day.. and today he broke the other one… luckily he’s going to the dentist tomorrow, but still… (the teeth were broken before, and they have been glues and cemented and whatnot before… ) And now, if we assume rightly, he’ll get two veniers (sp?) put on.. and THEY are NOT cheap…
and 4. to top it all off I had to WALK to the library today… and when I got there we found out we were supposed to met at the railway station…. so we had to WALK down there… well, the others did… I hitched a ride with one of the girls in my group ^_^
But then Adrian said that he would bake us a chocolate cake to make it up to us…

But I just feel really deflated today… I’m usually abnoxiously cheerful, and I still am… just a tad moody, I guess…

anyways… I’ll keep you all updated… on my cellphone… my chanses of interning somewhere, and I think I’ll be less excited next time… and Jan’s mouth…

Ja, jeg sa at jeg ikke kom til å skrive på Norsk, men siden jeg har fått norske lesere så kommer jeg til å gjøre det også nå :3
Ikke det at det kommer til å bli så veldig mye mer jobb for meg, egentlig.
Men ja… grunnen til at jeg er i godt humør. Jeg kan kanskje ha fått meg praksis plass =D

Jeg stakk innom Mørstad Senteret og fant en butikk som Adrian (kursleder for Delta som jeg er på kurs hos… lærer om Kundebehandling og butikk saker… hehehe ) foreslo for meg. Og siden han er en ganske så smart fyr, så hørte jeg på han og stakk innom Galleri 22… Den er ikke åpnet offisielt ennå, men den var åpen sånn at folk kunne komme innom og se hva de har. Og glad er jeg for det. Snakket først med en veldig koselig dame mens jeg ventet på butikksjef/daglig leder.. og da hun kom spurte jeg om hun kunne tenke seg å ha en på praksis plass der. Så jeg gav henne noen papirer, deriblandt CV’en min, og hun virket ganske så positiv. Praksisplass tiden og butikken åpner på samme tid… Så ja, jeg tror faktisk hun drar nytte av å ha gratis arbeidskraft der ^_^
Håper det går bra…

Og jeg har fått meg en ny hobby. Vel, egentlig ikke ny. Men jeg har begynt å strikke… igjen… MEN!!! denne gangen klarer jeg/har jeg lært meg å strikke tommel, så nå kan jeg lage pulsvarmere med tommel =D

OG!!! Jeg så noen kopp/beger isolasjons greier. Altså, de brukes utpå en pappkopp som beskyttelse.. sånn at du ikke brenner fingrene av deg.

So.. why is Lene so elatede?
She might have found herself a intership place thingie. I don’t know if internship is the right word…
I work at a place, they don’t pay me any wages, I get payed by the unemployment office.
So, I just hope she thinks it’s a really good idea that I start working there… And the store opens the same day the internship starts, so it’s a kinda good thing that I asked, really… Free labour for her.. great help and so on… So remind me to thank Adrian tomorrow for the great advice.

So.. what else has Lene been up to?
Well, there’s always the good old Sunday Movie Ripps with the gang. Every Sunday the gang gather at a site we watch good and bad movies.. and we comment… much like mst3k (if you’re familiar with it) and it’s always a lot of laughs.
I’ve also been busy knitting and making cup holder things… (picture above). Yes, I know I’ve got far too many things going on in my head… But I can’t help it.  If I don’t do stuff I go mad…

Oh, and I’ll be splitting the blog in two from now on. I realised I have actual Norwegian readers *shock*
so to keep them updated too, I’ll be bilingual ^_^

Anyways..
I’ll update later some time..

Why I’m a slacker?
Well, I start stuff.. and they just seem to get done.. lol
I’m not really a finisher… well, I am, but right now I’m kinda.. erm.. I don’t know what to do. I’m stuck!
I’m making a jacket.. and I don’t know if I should cut up the middle of the front for the zipper now or if I should wait.
*sighs*  Maybe if I put it all together and see how things look, first and foremost..
It might not look anything like I want it to look… But I got the hood, the ears and arms… and everything…

But first…  to the girls out there :3

Mood: Great, as always… What can I say, I’m a happy happy person ^_^
Listening to: I gotta Feeling – Black Eyed Peas

A lot of things has gone down since I wrote last… irch.. when I write it like that it sounds bad… but rest assured that bad things don’t happen to me… But things have happened, and it’s been mundane…
So… I decided to make Potter Puppets… If you have no idea what that is check out Potter Puppet Pals, just start at the bottom and work yourself up… It’s a hoot.
So, I decided to make a Snape and a Lucius. It’s not like I’m going to sell them or make shows.. it’s just to keep myself busy and not lose my mind from not having a job to do.
So yeah… I started with an odd head shape.. elongated head/face… and wool yarn for hair.. and I just sowed by hand along the edges… attached ears and so on.. and turned them inside out. Here you can see with the wool yarn hair and the oddly shaped head with ears…
Needless to say that the dark haired one is Snape… even with nose =D
So then I started working on Lucius.
Honestly, they look like an 80’s puddle rock band… or Weird Al Yankowitch with blond follower…
They are a bit blurry… they had a few too many drinks last night…
I still have some stuff left to do on them. Lucius’ hair is too long, so I have to cut it, but I still have to attach more blond hair to his head.  A long and tedious job, but it has to be done. The man will snare me down if I don’t. Well, he will anyway, but that’s what we all love about him :3
So yeah.. I have yet to make the body and the arms. But I will get there…
Ages and ages ago I bought loads of black fabric so I could make a black cow snuggly costume for myself. It was going to be huge and just really a “thank god it’s afternoon” costume type thing.
The other day I ripped apart a one piece PJ thing I had from years and years back… yes, it still fit… but it was falling apart, which is why I decided it was time to put it to sleep. So I ripped up the stitching and measured out longer legs and stuff, a little wider around the middle… and it turns out the stupid lady in the store I bought the fabric at didn’t give me enough fabric… I said 2.5 meters, she claimed 2 meters would be enough… -_-
I wasn’t pleased… However, this illusive Panda jacket I’ve been talking about making, has black fabric.. or I have black fabric for it, and I was thinking that I could use some of that. Great idea, if you ask me… It doesn’t have to be perfect.. it’s just something I’ll be walking around in at home… snuggling…
So yeah… Now I need to make the Panda Jacket so that I know how much fabric is left for me.
The other day I also discovered a site, I was really told about it ages ago, but I’ve never really been there till a few days ago. Rifftrax. If you’re an MST3K fan you’ll know all about Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and the rest… well, they’ve gotten together and made this site, I guess, where they take just about any movie and riff it… And I do mean any movie.  If you want to check out the site I do recommend that you have a look at “Star Wars VI”… it had me in stitches… I laughed so hard I cried… and that’s been a loooong time since I’ve done that.
And in other news…
Jan was at the DMV the other day to pick up some papers on the scooter we have, and I asked him if he could ask them about the rules and stuff for me getting the licence.. if they had changed etc.
When he came home he said I just needed to hand in papers from the doctor saying I’m well; papers from an eye doctor saying I use glasses, but that I’m otherwise fine… and that’s it… send in the papers, and they send me the licence in the post… I don’t even have to take a test =D
On that note I’d like to post pictures of my beloved helmet… the one I’ll be using when I wroom around like a mad person ^_^
Yes, it has butterflies, but I can’t help but loving them.. I waited like three months or so for the person on Ebay to get it back into stock so that I could get it..  and I saved a bundle too.. hehe..
I don’t know what it is about butterflies, but lately I’ve been all “Must Have!” with them…
Which is why, basically, I have my “new” cellphone full of them… But they are cute  ^_^
Oh, that reminds me.. I have to fix some things on my cell…

Listening to: Jeff Corwin on TV… he’s a funny guy…

So yeah…
I’ve already told you in the past that I found my series. I was looking for it, found the first 10 episodes on an online streaming thing… I’ve seen the show way way way in the past on sci-fi channel… and it was a show out of the ordinary. Not very normal, which I like… and after I lost the sci-fi channel I forgot all about it…
Then before christmas I stumbled upon it… I can’t really remember how it happened, but I checked it out, kinda remembered that I might have seen it before and watched the 10 first episodes. But after that I couldn’t find any more online streaming, so I checked for downloads. And because I never learn and don’t read stuff I ended up with the 9 first episodes :/
So I put it all out of my mind… But then I stumbled upon mini episodes someplace. They are pretty much condensed episodes, all riff raff and things that doesn’t matter taken out.
And I’m not almost at 300. And the show will start being in color soon =D
I have to admit that I did watch it a little wrong, because I came upon some episodes that were further into the show than I had hoped. But I did get to learn how and why Barnabas Collins (I’ll explain later) became a vampire.

Yes, the show has ghosts, vampire, female human/phoenix’, werewolves… and that’s about it, I think… OH! and a frankenstein creature called Adam..
I don’t know how I can explain properly…. at the beginning of the first episode you get to know a young woman called Victoria Winters. She’s on a train to Collinsport to work as a governess for a young boy, David Collins; son of Roger Collins; brother of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard; mother to Carolyn Stoddard. They all live in Collinwood, a manson on the slight outskirts of Collinsport. The grand house was built in the 1790’s by Josuah Collins.
But none of this is really that important.. lol
Victoria starts working there, and as the episodes pass you have love, jealously, death threats, ghosts, crazy young boy, crazy woman killing people, murder, old murder, blackmail and after about 200 episodes you get Barnabas Collins. A vampire who has been asleep for some 200 years… give or take.. when he went to sleep he had just lost the lady he loved most of all: Josette Dupres Collins. That’s right… they were kinda family. She was married to Barnies cousin or something like that because her handmaiden had bewitched her and her future husband so that they’d get married and Barnie could marry her instead… Angelique, that is…. Yeah, turns out Angelique was a witch.
But I think there was a duel or something and someone died, and so Barnie and Josette were set to live happily ever after. But remember Barnie was married to Angelique, and she had something to say about it. She cursed him.. and he died.. and then turned into a vampire… and then he got all “Sweet, if I can turn Josette into one too, we’ll live FOREVER!” But Angelique was still a bitch and showed Josette what she would be like as an undead… and so Josette jumped to her death. And then Angelique set out to kill Barnie… but he turned the tables and killed her instead.
Let’s just say that alot of people died as a result of Barbabas becoming undead. Even his sister died, but not because he bit her. When Barnie died they thought it was the plague. So the family decided that it would be better to say he “went to England” instead. But of course they didn’t tell Barnie’s 10 year old sister who was so sure she saw him one day and went after him, ending up in the family crypt.. caught pnemonia and died.
So now that Barnie has been brought back to life, so to speak, he has set out to find his Josette again, and he frankly couldn’t care less who it is. First he tried to turn the local cafè lady into Josette, but she lost her mind. Well, he kinda hypnotised her into thinking she was Josette, then she remembered who she was, played along for a while so that she could escape, got caught, put in “jail”, lost her mind and then escaped with the help from the ghost of Barnie’s sister, Sarah. The doctor said it would be best to just let everyone know she was dead so the guy who had her wouldn’t come after her… and it worked… But then Barnie got a new love interest. Victoria. And seeing as she’s in love with the past, so to speak, she seemed a more villing victim.
And this is about where I am now…. and I snapped some really cool pictures of vampire Barbabas trying to munch the local street walker.
I don’t know what it is.. I mean… he’s not the most attractive bloke in the world. But I guess it’s the darkness in him. AND he’s a pretty good actor.

And that’s another thing I love about the show.  The show was recorded live, so to speak… If they made mistakes they couldn’t go back and redo it… and that means, at times, you see stage hands in the background. Which is hilarious when a person is locked in a sealed room, utterly alone, moaning about their aloneness and the camera pan out and you see a stagehand huddled in the corner.
And let’s not forget the lines. People forget lines, stumble and/or pronounce things wrong.  But in a way that makes things seem more real.

So yeah.. I really love the show in all its badness… But it is pretty good too…

But I won’t drone on.. I’m sure you have no interest in it… lol

Also, on the movie site, I don’t know if I said, but we had a public viewing and ripping of a movie.
I thought it was great fun, and I think the rest of the gang thought so too…
I am now trying to find another movie to watch on Sunday.
I also, the other day, saw a little of “Scanners 3” which was… well… the acting was bad… but the blood spatter was brilliant. I’ve very rarely seen that kind of head explosion.

But now I’m off…

So yes, it’s been a very long time.
I don’t know what’s happened… well, I do… I’ve been busy… I found the series I wanted… Dark Shadows… online… It’s just mini episodes.. like someone has actually taken out all that time consuming stuff and made it into an 11 min episode.
I didn’t think the person had from the start, but I did some digging, and s/he did =D
It totally made my day when I saw it… and I’m very soon on episode 100… been busy these past few days.. XD

So anyways…
I made cookies the other day… like chocolate chip… without an electrical handwhisk… all by my own hand.. and they tasted GREAT!!!

I also got a call from someone about four days ago… I was out shopping with Camilla..
So I got an interview for a job tomorrow… It’s a job I applied for two months ago.. and I thought that ship had sailed… and it was really a job I applied for to apply for it… I didn’t expect to get that call.. lol
And I had compleetly forgotten… But when I came home I read up in it, and I remember…
It’s selling cellphones, accessories and computer accessories, I think… along those lines.. Should be fun… So now it’s just a matter of not being an ass and screwing it up for myself…

In other news…
My movie site, well, not mine.. but I feel like I belong.. lol..
I’ve aired an idea of having a public viewing of a movie… which would be great fun.. and if we got it going like mst3k it would be even more fun…
I thikn that the first time we try it we should pick a movie we all know… that doesn’t suck too much.. but which gives us enough amo to have fun with it….
And with that I’ll post the picture I said I would post…

But yes.. we’ve all dressed well.. and haven’t really had problems with health or anything… hopeing it’ll continue.. :3
