Mood: Sooo fiiine… I finally got some sleep..
Listening to: TheRadBrad AGIAN!!! playing Dead Space.
So yeah.
I’ve been working loads lately, and despite that I have had some problems sleeping. Day before yesterday I woke up a lot and just couldn’t get some much needed rest. I kept dreaming strange shit. Then yesterday I woke up at 4.10 am and couldn’t get back to sleep. And I had a full day, 8 hours, at work.. and we were busy. Like crazy busy. But we had fun too. I normally do 4 hours or 6 hours, which is fine.. but those extra two hours on your feet really take it out of you.. add to it being tired as hell… yeah..so last night before I went to bed I took some painkillers and I fell asleep around 10.45pm and slept soooo well till like 4.45am when Jan went to work.. Had problems getting back to sleep so I read for about an hour… Fell asleep and slept to 7.30am… turned over and slept till 9am… it was aaaaall kinds of good.
So now I’m enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate before taking a lovely long hot shower before I got more work. I only got 4 hours today.. and 4 hours tomorrow.. and then I have a day off.. yay! It’s been like 6 days on, so it’ll be nice to have a day off.  I might actually get to start getting things ready for Christmas.

Other than that… Nothing much is going on, really. It’s just work, work and more work… I’m basically overworked and underdrunk. OK, maybe not so much overworked, but totally underdrunk! I haven’t had the time to pick me up some Captain Morgan. I think I need to do it on Tuesday. And I have to remember to pick up some ice cubed and some limes.

I also got movie night tonight, and I just hope I get home in time. There shouldn’t really be a problem. I get of work at 6pm and the movie starts at 7pm. I hope Jan picks up some snacks. I don’t know if I’ll have the time. Although, I think I might be eating dinner while watching that movie.. lol. Oh well.

Man, it’s such a nice day. I think it’s freezing outside, but it’s sunny and nice. I should go outside and take a nice walk… HAHAHAH!!! yeah, right.

Well, time for my shower. I’m really looking forward to it.

Good Morning.
So… I’m tied. I’ve been working lately… and it really does take it out of me. All that smiling and being friendly.. shit.
We have had some really annoying costumers being annoyingly annoying, but that comes with the trade. But I’ve got a few days off now, so I’ll do the best I can with them and maybe start to get things tidy for Christmas.
At work I am kinda in that christmassy spirit, but that’s because I’m surrounded by christmassy stuff. When I’m at home and look out the window I have to admit I’m not feeling it. I hope we get snow soon, or at least colder weather…cause this is kinda depressing.
But yeah, my feet hurt and I’m tired, but at least I’ll get a movie tonight. And I’m making chicken for dinner. Yummm.
Needless to say that I am hungry, but I have no food. But I’m getting paied soon. And that bottle of Captain Morgan is mine!!! MWOAHAHHAHAHAHAAA.
I also think I’ve hurt my gum… like between two of my teeth. Feels tender and weird. I’ll wait and see if I get an abscess or whatever, then I have to go to the dentist. Not that I mind, cause my dentist is groovy…but it is annoying, and would figure, getting a dental problem now. Finally get some money and I have to use it on stuff I don’t want to use it on.  I want to use it on Christmas gifts and nice stuff… and food… we need loads of food.  We need beef and pork for our fondue evening on Dec. 22. Oh, and sausages. And lamb… and more pork. with crackling. I love crackling.
If you want to know how to make delicious crackling, let me know. It’s easy, really.

But now I’m hungry and should see if I can find some food..

So, I didn’t post anything last Sunday because I was gone. I went to visit my family and hand over this years Christmas gifts.
No, I won’t post here what I got them… If they just happen to stumble into my blog, which I highly doubt, they’ll see what they are getting. I’ll tell you after Christmas, if I remember.
I told them that all I wanted this year is money. I need clothes and I want to save up for that ps3 I want so badly. I’ve been watching Skyrim walkthrough’s and I WANT THAT GAME!!! SO BAD!!!
And then Diablo 3 comes out next year, I hope… so I need money for that… And I need clothes for two confirmations next year.. and I need new make-up. The stuff I have is oooold… and it needs to get newified.

I also entered a competition on TLC Norge… I can win shoes! SHOES!!!! I need new shoes too. The nice dressy shoes I had got tossed, so I’ve been using my grandma Duck old lady shoes for all the dressy occasions I’ve been to. They’ve been well hidden by long dressy pants, so no worries, but I still need new shoes.

So, while in Bergen my dad gave all of us our Christmas gift. He took us all out for a very, very, very nice dinner. The company was great, the food was delicious. All in all a great night out. Only downside was the expensive drinks. I ordered a Cuba Libre after dinner, and they charged me 97,- for it. To me that’s hellaspencive. But it was a delicious drink.
So, when I get my pay this time I’ll get me a huge HUGE bottle of Captain Morgan, Spiced Gold… <3 (the bartender used Bacardi, which is good, but I prefer my rum brown.. not too brown, though).
We also visited my brother in his new apartment. He says it’s not as nice as the old one. But at least it’s home for now… even if his landlady is a bitch… telling him when it’s time to turn off his TV and shit.. I mean, seriously.. He’s a grown man!

So… I got home on Thursday and I worked Friday. It was only for 4 hours, but man-oh-man! We racked it in. The girls working earlier did most of the hard work, I just pushed us over the edge.. lol
Then yesterday I started at 11am, and from when I started till 6pm we were rushed with work. People just kept shopping. Not that it’s a bad thing, but there were no long breaks to do other things than just stay behind the register and smile at people. So I was beat when I got home yesterday. But Jan had made me dinner, so all was well.

OH, I also got some new nail polish when I was in Bergen. Goooold. Well, one is called Golden Treasure and the other one Wawawoom. I used Wawawoom on our night out. It’s kinda like a mix between gold and silver. Very nice. The mall close to where mom lives had Midnight open stores. They usually do that when Christmas comes around. Worked out great, really. Was the same day we got there, so we ate a nice dinner, relaxed a little and then hit the stores.
And now I’m trying out my dark purple nail polish with the Golden Treasure one to see if it looks good.

It’s also the first Sunday in Advent now, so I need to get my hands stuck in hanging up stuff and getting the Advent lights set up. When I’m done with that and darkness falls outside I can turn it all on and sing “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”. All we’re missing is snow. I’m sure it’ll come too. I’m in no rush.

And now it’s 6 hours till movie start. I’m looking forward to this one. “Big Trouble in Little China”. I hope someone turns up. If not we’ll have to postpone it. But it’ll be good too.

So..
I’ve been busy all week. Working my fat ass to the bone… OK, maybe not to the bone, but I have been exhausted.
Christmas is in the stores now, and people seem to want to get stuff…. which is good. We’ve had some amazing sales, and I’m really proud of us for pulling it off.
On wedensday I had my hair did. I’m not sure if I’m all that happy I decided to have bangs again. But it is a nice bob and I just need to figure out how to style it properly, I guess.
I had to walk to the hairdressers, which wasn’t a problem… Has Espen pick me up so that he could drive me home.. there is no way I’m walking up that hill… HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL no… Then I jumped in the shower to wash off all those annoying tiny hairs that bug the hell out of me after I’ve had my hair done… did… and then grabbed the bus to get to work. On thursday when I woke up my legs didn’t want to work… they were in such pain.
At the end of the week my feet were really hurting from all the standing and walking about, but I’m allright now. A day of rest really does help.

Anyways… Nothing else to report, really… I don’t think…so I’m off to play Sims3.

So, it’s sunday again and I can finally relax. I don’t know if I’ll get much relaxing next week.
Got work almost every day.. which is great. Getting my hair done on Wedensday…and work following. I’m really excited about the hair doning. Haven’t had a haircut in ages. Good thing is that I’m starting to really like the haircolour I have now. Natural dark blond.
We had a sunday movie last sunday, and we’re doing another one today. It’s great to be back “in the game” and I’m exciting about the movie we’re doing tonight. “Dr. Who and the Daleks”.
I’ve also become an addict of downloading movies. It’s not getting any better either… it’s just getting worse and worse. Good thing is that it’s all good stuff… lol
I’ve been on a HUGE Stephen King TV-series, Made-for-TV movies etc. binge.. and it’s been good. I’m totally gonna read more of his books. I’ll wait till after christmas and see if I get any money.
But then there are so many things I want now.. lol
Top of my list is a ps3. Then there’s a Tassimo T20 coffee maker thingie… With the capsuls things… I can make yummy cocoa =D
I also need clothes. There are two Confirmations next year… I can’t believe it’s 14 years since they were born. It’s amazing how time flies when you’re having fun.
I was hoping of finding a lovely peach coloured chiffon tunic… If now I could always make something.. lol
Nothing really remarkable has happened this week.
So I guess I’ll update more next sunday, unless I do a movie review. I’ve scribbled down a few of them, but I’ll see if I have the time.

So.. a week has past and I don’t know how I’ve done with my commandments. I think I’ve done good.
Let’s see:

1. You shall not have other gods before Me.
Well, that one I’ve broken every single day… so that’d be 7.

2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image – any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
I made a knitting pattern with a reindeer… does that count? I mean..  I know it’s not carving… but it is making an image of a creature… And how discriminating it is for those who do wood carvings for a living. Some of that stuff is like works of art…. I’ll give it a 1… seeing as I only did a reindeer pattern… And I haven’t knitted it yet.

3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your GOD in vain.
OMG, I think I’ve broken this one the most… I’ve lost count… idk… 50?

4. Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.
I remember that today is Sunday and it’s supposed to be a resting day. I have rested.. but I’ve also loaded the dishwasher… 1.

5. Honor your father and your mother.
I do that every day. I love my parents and I am so happy they are still friends even though they are divorced. 7.

6. You shall not murder.
Oh, dratt…  I tried to do my best here, but I’m afraid I have killed three spiders. 3.

7. You shall not commit adultery.
I haven’t done that this whole week… or the week before… or the week before that.. etc. And I’m not going to next week.. or the week after that.. etc. I’m not planning on becoming an adult any time soon.

8. You shall not steal.
To my knowledge I haven’t stolen anything. Except maybe some looks.. and smiles.. I don’t know if that counts.

9. You shall not bear flase witness against your neighbor.
I… he hasn’t done anything wrong so that I have been put in the possission to bear false witness, or true witness, against him…

10. You shal not covet your neighbors house; you shal not covet your neighbors wife, nor his male servent, nor his female servent, nor his ox, nor his ass…donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
No problem. He doesn’t have a wife, nor a male and/or female servent… not an ass or ox… and his house is almost like ours, but I think ours is better now after the stuff we’ve done with it.

SO…
That means I’ve broken some of the commandments alot and some not at all…
And it’s very easy to break the ones that are easy to break.. and it’s easy to not break those you don’t want to break.. I’ll never stop honoring my parents, I’ll never adult, I won’t murder… except insects, but I don’t think that counts.
What I’ve learned from it? Haven’t got a clue. I just thought it’d be fun to see how it works for a atheist.

IN other news…
Nothing much has happened this week. I’ve been working and going about my business.
Soon I’ll be making chinese pancakes for our dinner later. I’m making Chinese chicken marinated in oystersauce.
I’ve never made it before so it’ll be interesting to see how it all comes out.

And later today we’re finally getting our movie night back.. yay!
I’ve switched to daylightsaving.. did it last night… it’s 11am now… I hope people will turn up.

As you all know the rapture has been postponed untill later. I’m sure we’ll hear about it at one point.  Well, december of 2012, innit?
At least I think it is… however, I don’t think this theory holds much water either. Just like our chalanders, the mayan or inkaen chalander has to stop at one point. It’s been going on forever, it’s about time it got a rest too.

Hmm.. what else.
I helped Jan change tires on the car. He’s out sick from work now because of his knee, so I have to help when I can. But I have to admit it is pretty cool to have equipment that sounds like the real deal.. like drill bit thingies on compressed air and all that.. sounded like a real petrol station.

Other than that I don’t really have much to report. I wrote a new movie review, but I won’t post it till the 28th.
And I have been thinking about the 10 commandments… not the movie, but the actual commandments…and how an ungodly creature like myself can stack up to them. So, for one week I will take note of all the commandments I break and how often I break them. I think I already have nr. 6 in the bag (Thou shalt not kill), however, I might slip.. I’ll try my hardest to not, though.
So… incase you have no idea what the ten commandments are:

Listening to: Alice Madness Returns Soundtrack… It’s a game that has this really bumping fighting theme. I really like it.

G’day

Or should I say evening? It is, after all, past 8 in the evening. But the theme thing I’m listening to reminds me that I have to put the Psycho theme on my cell phone for Halloween. Not that I celebrate it, but it’s fun to have for those special occasions XD.
So yeah… about my new cell phone. I was distressed to find that it all of a sudden started to drain power really fast. It usually lasts at least two days with normal, for me, use… and suddenly it drained half it’s power in a day… I was slightly miffed at this… I downloaded an app which is supposed to kill programs you don’t use… It didn’t help me one bit. So I was looking around on it and Jan told me to try one of the things which show what programs are running.. and if they need to be running etc. and you can shut them down.. .so I did… and that night I plugged the cell to the power cord to juice it up… In the morning, yesterday, when I woke up, it was full… This morning when I woke up it was at like 70% or something.. and now it’s at 55%. That means the battery life has increased greatly, and I am pleased as punch…

In other news… we had a personal meeting thingie last week. Going over things that’ll happen next month. After Halloween, which we know is on the 31st, but we recon that most people will be celebrating on the 29th, everything halloweeny will be taken away and advent will be put where Halloween was… in the store, that is… and since advent is here soon, it means Christmas will be coming really really fast. Not that we’re the first store that has christmassy things out already. Stores have started putting out Christmas candy already. too soooon.
Hopefully I’ll be able to take a trip to visit my parents in November, but I don’t know, yet. Jan has to find out if he gets time off, and I have to remember to tell boss lady if I am to leave. I hope we can, cause that will take care of most of the Christmas gifts. Speaking of which, I have no idea what to get Jan… Last year I gave him a suede jacket for winter… this year.. I have no idea…
One thing that I wish for the both of us is a Bosch Tassimo coffee maker thingie. It’s sooo cool, cause you can make cocoa, tea and other coffee drinks… AND it has a steamer which will fluff milk and make it tasty.
But I’ll have to think about what to get Jan…especially since he gave me the cell phone.

Oh, and apparently the Rapture will happen on Friday the 21st.
Might be just me…but if I discovered that the world was ending, I’d make sure my calculations were right before announcing to the world that the time is up…
However… it could be that the guy that figured it out in May knew it was off by five months, just to see how people would react, to see if people started killing each other etc. That if they did people wouldn’t be ready… idk. It’s a thought… lol..
Most likely, and it’s, in my mind, 100%… he’s full of shit and should stop scaring people.
Will it be at 6pm this time too? I don’t know if I’ll be working this time, but if I don’t I’ll keep an update on my blog with the countdown…

AND finally… Some rants.
Anna Anka, you suck!!! You’re so full of yourself it’s sickening. I don’t blame Paul for kicking your ass out the door. Before teaching women how to keep their man, maybe you should be able to keep a man of your own.

And then there’s “Sigrid søker selskap” (Sigrid seeks company)
It’s a program on Norwegian TV about two guys and a girl looking for company.
Ragnar is am elderly widower, Ove a single young guy and Karin the only woman… and Sigrid is the host.
The only reason I started watching the show was because one of Karin’s dates is a guy I know. So we have to watch to find out how it turns out.  So far the guy has made it to the finals… along with another guy who works at the same mall at me, in the sports equipment store. And Ove, the young guy was on a date with a girl, hairdresser, working at the salon at the same mall as me.. lol
Needless to say that she didn’t want to go on to the “next round” with him. Nor did any of the other women.. which was a bummer…
However… he did find some girls, four to be exact, to go on a camping trip with him… One of them was a no show, and another told him that she didn’t have those feelings for him and that it wouldn’t be right to go on… but they could be friends if he wanted to… and he said NO! So she left…
So, seeing as there can only be two in the final he had to pick between Miss No Show and the two others that wanted to be there… The host told him that since the one girl was a no show it was an easy pick… all he had to do was step up and pick the girl he didn’t want to be there.  AND HE MANAGES TO PICK ONE OF THE TWO GIRLS STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM INSTEAD OF THE NO SHOW CHICK!!!  If I was eating pop corn I would have thrown it at the TV.
So… host lady told him he couldn’t pick the one he picked cause there had to be two in the final and he couldn’t have a picture as a “date”… so it’ll be exciting to see how the lady he wanted to throw out wants to be with him now, knowing that she’s not “it”… and if the other girl he wanted to stay wants to be with him… I’ll find out on Wednesday.
It’s also kinda funny cause I saw Karin at the mall where I work.. and she was on her way into the sporting store *eyebrow wiggle*… and the guy I know had told Jan that he was going to visit her later that day (He works at the same place Jan does.. Apparently the cleaning ladies there got tired of him hitting on them all the time and they entered him into the whole thing.. lol)… they used to live almost right next door from each other.. before he moved…  Trying to cover up, mayhap???

Anyroad… That was a whole lot of nothing.. lol
It’s almost a year since the long hard winter of 2010 started. Oct. 21st.. lasted six months… but we’re ready for it now.
I’ve even gotten new snow boots. Suede boots… My dad gave them to me as an early Christmas gift. I saw them and wanted them and called him and asked if he wanted to give me an early Christmas gift.. and he said sure…. and they are sooo cool.

Anyways.. I’ve got work tomorrow (yay)…

Hello and good day.
I basically have nothing new to talk about.
I still love my new phone… I downloaded a free Tom, the talking Tom Cat app for it today, and I was having fun with him, having him sound like a castrato… lol.
I was working yesterday and that was good. I had a good time at it too…except for the killer headache. Pills didn’t touch it. Got home, had some food and Pepsi Max, and it helped. I think it might have been caffeen withdrawels, and since I don’t drink coffee and we didn’t have tea at work, I couldn’t drink that. I DID, however, have green ice tea… but I don’t know how much caffeen it has… It’s good though. Especially AriZona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey. Can only get it in Sweden, so I usually get a few bottles when we’re over there. I read something disturbing, that AriZona was stopping the production, but as I read on I found out it was a bullshit.. So I was very happy about that.
Right now I’m enjoying a nice glass of vodka and coke.. with ice cubes. So gooood. I love it.
I’ve also made a few knitting recipes, for wrist warmers. One for Tardis wrist warmers and one for MST3K wrist warmers. I tried making the Tardis ones and they look kinda weird… I’ll take some pictres of them so you can see.
I’ll have to get yarn for the MST3K ones. I think I might have some somewhere, depends the thickness etc.. color… I want black, purple and blue…
I’ll take a picture of the finished product anyways, so yeah…
The Tardis ones looks like trumpet sleeves, which is kinda nice, but idk… Seeing as they are blue they kinda go with nothing.. lol.
Anyways. I’ve been spending my week doing nothing much…
I’ll try to do some movie reviews… I’ll see what movies I can find that are somewhat interesting.

Not alot happened last week. I didn’t work, so I’ve been lazying it up at home.  We could do this day by day…

Monday: I was at my doctor. Nothing serious, just a regular check-up. I’m fine.
We also picked up my new chell phone =D Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc…. and within an hour I broke my new cell phone.  How did I manage that, you ask? Why, y connecting it to my computer and giving it ye old update. OK, so seriously I think I was doing too much on it all at once. I was also trying to download my contact list at the same time.. plus I was checking it out. So suddenly it just shut down. It didn’t even want to power up. And after trying to make it work by taking out the battery, leaving it out a few minutes and so on, like they said on FAQ… I broke down in tears. No one likes to break their new phone.. not within an hour of getting it. So we decided to plug it to the wall and just leave it.. maybe it’d juice up. So before I went to bed I tried to turn the phone on, but it still didn’t want to work.
Tuesday: We tried to start up the phone again after leaving it all night without the battery in it. It didn’t work. So Jan called up the online store he got it from and asked for help. They said “We’ll call you back”. So Jan then called Sony Ericsson and asked them for help. They said “Sure. All you have to do is to plug it to a computer and update it again. Something went wrong during the first one, so just turn the cell phone of and plug it to a computer. That should do the trick”. So we did. And it was plugged to the computer for over 30 min. Jan called SE again and asked how long it’d take and they said about 15 min, and when they heard it had taken over 30 min they suggested unplugging and replugging, trying again… we did and it worked =D
So I finally had a working cell phone.. lol. Then came the issue of downloading my contact list. I had already uploaded it to google something and the program wanted me to connect the old cellphone to the computer again and do it aaaall over again… so I tried one of the other programs to doenload the list.. and they wanted me to instal Outlook. Now, that is one program I don’t need and don’t want on my computer… so I did it the old way. Wrote down all the old numbers on my cell and did it all manually. Didn’t take too long; I don’t have alot of contacts.
When Jan came home from work he said the store called him around 3pm and asked him if it worked. -_-  Thanks for helping…
Wedensday and Thursday: Nothing happened. Desolved in cellphony joyness <3
Friday: Jan went out with his job.. well, his shift and another shift. Why I didn’t tag along, you ask? Because his workplace SUCK!!! They pay for their food, but only a set amount of money…and you have to work there for them to pay your way.. and I don’t anymore… work there, that is. I could of course have spent my own money, but at the moment I’m skint.
So anyways. Jan came home around 1am and went to bed.. we talked a little and he seemed fine.. a little tipsy, that was about it.. then suddenly he started to retch and I flew out of the bed and was downstairs so fast… I can’t remember running downstairs at all… I found a bucket for him,  had some water in it and ran back upstairs.. on the way up I found out I had grabbed the other bucket as well… good thing I had. Jan had thrown up on a towel which I placed in the bucket. Long story short. I didn’t want to sleep next to him because I didn’t want to be thrown up on… but as I was trying to get back to sleep on the couch my mind started to get irrational and worry me with “what if’s”. Like.. what if he sleeps so soundly he throws up without knowing it and sufficates on it… so I went back upstairs… took me a loooong time to get back to sleep. Good think I had a good book. Around 3am I finally nodded off…
Saturday: Woke up at 7:30 am. The new cellphone is LOUD!!! And I needed to use the bathroom. So I got up and watched TV till Jan got up at 9:30am. Feeling fine, no headache or anything. We figured out why he got sick too. He mixed too many drinks. One of the guys working with him tried to drink him under the table. That in itself is like a death wish… The guy bought him Caloua (sp?) and Malibu… he had jägermaister, brandy, wine (red), some other shots I can’t remember the name of, coffee and about 12 half liters of beer.
So yeah… I spent the day in a tired haze. But we did have a nice dinner. Mutton and cabbage, put in a huge pot and boiled for 3 hours… with layers of whole black pepper and salt. You can of course use a herb holder thingie, but those are for whosses. But it is delicious.
Sunday: Had leftover dinner from saturday. It’s even more delicous the day after. I also watche Jaws with rifftrax. So funny. I’ve also been thinking about writing more movie reviews. I made one of Barbarella, but it was written so badly I need to watch the movie again… but I don’t want to watch the movie again becuse it’s so bad.
I also saw “Men who stare at goats” last week.. and I found it really funny. Like when George Clooney killed a goat with his mind.. I laughed so hard.. lol. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a spontanious belly laugh erruption.. well, of taht magnitude.. But I need to watch the movie again to write a good review.

So.. that was that. It’s monday now and I have a whole new week ahead of me.
