Mood: Good, but tired…
Listening to: Silent Hill walkthrough on youtube… seriously. Game walkthroughs are like movies. Some of the people add their voice to the walkthrough, and that can be annoying or hilarious. I was watching one the other day of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and the guy playing it was being followed by a monster… and he screamed like a girl. XD Fun fun.

So..
Yesterday night I was sitting here, on my computer… when my cellphone rang. Not an unusual thing… but the number was one I didn’t recognise. So I picked it up and said Hello.. like you do… And a guy introduced himself and said we had met each other someplace, can’t recall the name now… or the place.. lol
And he then said he had heard I was having a party and he was embarrassed to ask, but he wondered if he could come.
O.O
I told him I was not having a party.. and he said “But this is (my full name), right?” Yeah, but I’m still not having a party today. So we said our goodbyes and he hung up…
And that’s when I started getting paranoid. What if he had one of those numbers that sends him my money >.<
Especially annoying when I searched the number online and it came up with nothing.
I even dreamt about it last night… layer upon layer of how he had a grand scheme of luring people to a website (where we had met, apparently) and that if you typed in anything on that site you got charged loads of money… I had typed like three sentences and had racked up a bill of over $2000.
So this morning I checked the number again on a number search engine online and it said that the owner had a hidden number… so that sucked donkeybutt…

In other news…
Jan told me earlier this year, while we were doing the kitchen, that as a bday gift this year he’d give me a cellphone.. because he knows I want a new one. He got a new cellphone earlier, the one I wanted.. like flaunting it in my face every day… a Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 mini pro… Then I looked some more online and saw that the Sony company would be releasing an upgraded version, the Xperia mini pro.. so I wanted that one instead. And so started the wait for it to be released. It finally did, but then they decided to not release it in the pink one I wanted >.<  So I decided I wanted a white one. But then I saw the Xperia Arc… and it was soo cool… but loads more expensive. I was looking at a clip on youtube of someone with an xperia mini pro, how cool it was and so on, and then compared it to the arc.. and at that moment Jan came around the corner and asked me what that was.. and I told him that it was the mini pro and the arc… that the arc was cool but so utterly more expensive than the mini pro…
Suddenly one day Jan came to me and said he had ordered a cellphone for me.. the xperia arc. I almost had a heart attack when he told me. But the shock soon went away and then the waiting started. They had said that it would arrive on Friday… that’s the Friday that just passed… and no cellphone came. Then Jan called them and they said it would be sent out on Friday.. that we most likely would get it on Saturday or Monday… Needless to say… it didn’t get there yesterday.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed… I can’t wait to get my hands on it…

Other than that… I’ve been working, trying to keep my mind of the delectable cellphone heading my way. I’ll probably post pictures of it when I get it…
As of right now I’m making a tomato and onion salad for the grilled pork tenderloin we’re having for dinner later. The grilling season has ended in most of Norway, but not in our house, but it seems that this may be the last one on this side of Christmas. We bought loads of the pork tenderloins for my bday, ready marinated, and it’s one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten.
The tomato and onion salad is easy to make. Cut the onion into thin slices, put it in a bowl and drizzle 2 tsp of sugar over it before pouring boiling water on it.. enough to cover everything. Leave it to cool for a few hours (which is why I started now.. it takes a while for the water to cool). When the water is cold enough for you to handle the onion, pour the water of it and squeeze out any remaining water from the onion and rinse in cold water. Cut tomatoes into thin slices and put on a plate, and then put the onion over it and top with freshly ground pepper. You can also put a dressing on it if you want to. One easy one is olive oil and lemon juice.

Hope you’ll make it sometime.. it is very very tasty.

Ja, jeg vet at det er søndag nå og at jeg ble ferdig med kurset på fredag, men jeg har vært litt… erm… distrahert av TV. Det er ikke så ofte jeg får sjangsen til å titte på det jeg har lyst til, hvertfall ikke i det siste, så jeg ble litt overivrig og har sett på det meste nå. Nei, jeg er ikke ferdig meg å titte på TV, jeg trengte bare en liten pause… dessuten så er det bare dritt på den TV’en akkurat nå…
Men ja. Torsdag var siste dag på -nille. En vedmodig dag, men også veldig koselig. Elin, next in command, og jeg gjorde det vil skulle, men siden de har varetelling nå (ja, akkurat nå i dette øyeblikk med mindre noe har gått gale) så var det ikke så mye vi fikk gjort, så vi stod egentlig hele dagen, eller fra 10 til 15 og snakket sammen. Bare kos! Selvfølgelig gjorde vi noe. Vi stod ikke å latet oss… hehe
Men ja, etter lunsj gav de meg ett sjokk. De gav meg en avskjedsgave, som takk for at jeg hadde hjulpet dem. :'(
Ja, jeg ble rørt. I denne gaven var det: en limegrønn kjølebag, ett limegrønt håndkle, serviettholder og servietter og 6 glass som står i stil med en flaske jeg kjøpte for ca. en uke siden.
Så jeg kjøpte ett lite kort og takket dem for å ha tatt imot meg så hjertelig som de hadde gjort og at de åtte ukene jeg har vært der har vært så utrolig morsomme.
Så var det fredag. Som gikk mye fortere enn jeg hadde trodd… altså med utlevering og sånn. Jeg reiste ned dit litt før 10 og var hjemme igjen litt før 12. Og jeg fikk gitt gavene jeg hadde kjøpt. Virket som at de falt i smak. Jeg spurte også litt rundt om folk ville være med på det, og selvfølgelig ville de det. Uheldigvis hadde ikke så mange penger på seg, og det går greit det.. hehe. Det var jo noe jeg planla selv, og siden en av de jeg hadde gått på kurs med var veldig interessert i å være med på dem, så tenkte jeg at det gikk jo greit å høre, men men… Det viktigste var at jeg fikk gitt dem, ikke at jeg ikke fikk penger fra de andre, akkurat det spilte ingen rolle… Jeg sa at det var fra oss uansett, så…

Så det var det. OH!! Jeg har også forresten fått resten av The Dark Tower serien til Stephen King. Jeg er på bok 4 nå. “Wizard and glass”. Jeg vet ikke helt om jeg vil lese videre. Jeg er ca. 200-240 sider inn i den, og det er spennende, men jeg tror jeg vet hva som kommer til å skje, og jeg har ikke lyst til å lese det. Men jeg bør vel egentlig det, for jeg har jo tross alt begitt meg ut på denne reisen sammen med Roland, Susannah, Eddie og Jake.

ENGLISH!!!!

Mood: Good, but I gots a zit on my chin starting to bug me…

Yes, I know it’s sunday and I finished the course on friday, but I’ve been a little.. erm… distracted by the TV. It’s not that often I get the chanse to watch what I want to… especially not lately, so I got a little overzealous and watched basically everything. No, I’m not done watching TC yet, I just needed a little break… besides, right now there’s nothing but crap on the tube anyway…
But yeah… Thursday was the last day of where I internet and it was very nice last day all be it sad. Elin, next in command, and I did what we were supposed to do, but since they are doing inventory now it wasn’t all that much to do. So from about 10am to 3pm we basically talked. Not resting or goofing off, just had a great time talking.  And after I got out from lunch she gave me a little shock. They had put something together as a “thanks for helping us” gift.  I was touched, indeed. In it was: A limegreen cooler thing, a limegreen towel, napkin holder and napkins and 6 tumblers matching a bottle I bought about a week ago.
So I got them a little card and thanked them all for welcoming me like they had and that the 8 weeks I had spent there were 8 of the most fantastic weeks I’ve spent at a workplace.
And then Friday came along and it went faster than I thought it would… with the handing out of diplomas and stuff. I went down there about 10am and was home alittle before 12am. And I did hand out the gifties I got them, and they seemed to like them. Afterwards I asked descreetly around to see if anyone wanted in on it, and some wanted, but they didn’t have any money, which is fine. I was the one who planned getting the stuff and so forth, so I don’t blame them, really, for not wanting to join or whatever. I delivered the pressies and that’s what matters.

AND!!!! I got the whole series of The Dark Tower, the Stephen King thing… I’m on book 4 now; “Wizard and Glass”. I don’t know if I want to go on reading. I’m around 200-240 into it and it’s exciting, but I think I know what’s coming, and I don’t want to read about it. But I should, really, because I have after all started this journey with Roland, Susannah, Eddie and Jake, and Oy…. I just can’t leave them hanging… But I want Susan Delgado to be left untouched.. and I’m afraid she won’t be… *sighs*

Yeah, I think I’ll do the Sunday round-ups when I feel like doing them on Sundays… Because this isn’t working.. lol

So.. nothing is really new… Nothing major has happened.
Well, one thing has happened. I got really desperate for a sci-fi movie, so I sat through Zardoz…
If you like to watch crazy people and naked chicks, go ahead and watch it… I seriously don’t know what to say about the movie. It is what it is…

AND… I’ve started watching MST3K movies on youtube. I’ve missed them sooo much… I even saw one with Joel… And I kinda don’t like him… he always seems like he’s bored to be there and hate watching movie… Like I know that that’s the point.. that he’s being MADE to watch the movies… but at least Mike lets his humor shine through. I saw one the other day where he was laughing/giggling his ass off… I think it was The Brute Man… and a store manager was yelling at a young man who worked there for being too much into the whole Creeper thing… And to hear the “commentators” lose it.. well, it is funny…

What else…
Oh.. I finished the scarf… *takes picture to post*

I must say I really like the colors..

I really don’t think anything else has happened. So… yeah…

Oh, I got some fabric today… so now I can make my cow snuggle outfit…
The problem, however, is to start…

Yeah, I don’t know what’s going on, to be honest.
I was going to write yesterday, but I think I just forgot… lol
So yeah… Last week and weekend.

Monday was fine… Can’t say I remembered anything happen…
Tuesday went fine… Don’t think anything exciting happened… Well, Jan went to Germany with a pal.. that’s about it…
On Wednesday I was sick, so I didn’t go to the course.  And Jan came home…
Thursday I went back to the course… still felt a little blah… but I was ok… baked rolls and stuff for the course….
Friday I went to the course…. last day… we didn’t really do much that day… we talked and ate cake.. then we went home.
Raija from the course, great lovely Finnish lady, drove me home. And we got to talk… that it was good to get out of the house to meet people and stuff… and the days went fast… and I said well, most days… when the woman course leader was in charge the days went slow… and Raija agreed. And I said I didn’t like the way she acted. That when you got a job application thingi from her you felt you HAD to apply for it, weather you wanted the job or not.
And again Raija agreed. She said that she was upset with her for yelling at one of the course attendees…
Well, I can only speak for myself, and I do agree that I didn’t like her aggressiveness…

So yeah… I’ve had a lovely relaxing weekend. Made more rolls/buns yesterday because we didn’t really get to taste the ones I made for the course.

Oh, and one day I made spring rolls FINALLY…
They were delicious… I’ll post the recipe and picture in another entry. I have to shrink the picture etc. and I can’t be bothered to do it on my tiny laptop…

G is still being an enigma… I have no idea what’s going on with him
And it is hard to send out an apb on a guy you know basically nothing about.
“Yes, American police? I want to report a guy missing. To b honest, I don’t evn know if he lived in America, but I think he does. And he’s been missing for at last two weeks. I don’t know him, like really… but I have talked to him online and now he’s gone… he goes by the name G… and I know he works with shows… ”
I’m sure they’d comb America for me…

So yes…
I almost forgot that it was Sunday.. how sad is that.. lol
A lot has happened this week… well, not a lot.. but some…
There’s the course…
Monday – went fine
Tuesday – went fine
Wedensday – went fine (and Jan told me he had been at the place I had applied for a job that I wasn’t sure I would take, and he had seen a new chick there. So appearently she’s hired someone.. and now I don’t have to worry.. *relaxes* )
Thursday – went out handing out open applications, which went shit, to be honest, but at least I got out one.. and that’s one more than I would have handed out if I hadn’t gone..
Friday – boring day.. I don’t know what went on with me on Friday, but my heart wasn’t in it… so Luckily I had msn and Camilla and Ellie to talk to.

All last week I also lived on asian inspired foods.. mmmm… well, on monday I had fish thing… baked in the oven.. very good. but on tuesday I made something REALLY tasty with minced beef and asian condements and stuff… well.. not that monay condements… it had oyster sauce, soy sauce and Kecap Manis in it.. with eggnodles.. broccoli and spring onions… so good.. I’m so making it again… didn’t have time to take a picture.. I was hungry and it was too good…
And then I had japanese curry.. and everyone knows how I looooove me some japanese curry…
Next week I’ll try to make springrolls with chicken.. I found a recipe I just HAVE to try…

And I made pizza yesterday… Lene’s good old home made pizza… I think I have a picture of one I made a while back, but it’s basically the same thing, so…

I usually have green peppers on it too… or started too not too long ago.. I usually make them like this. With the sauce all made in one pot.. with the meat, shrooms, onion and tomatoes… this is left to bubble for.. well.. basically, the longer it stands the better.  In the meantime I make the pizza base, top it with the sauce and put loads of cheese on top… and then put red and green peppers ontop of that with onions… bake in the over for 20 min on 225 C
it’s delicious… ^_^

Oh, and I found a picture of myself while I was looking through my photobucket…

It was taken in 1997…and I haven’t changed all that much… shorter hair, I’ve lost the bangs… But no wrinkles and that’s about it.. haha…

Erm, what else… hmm…
Oh, right.. Jan and I made a counter for the garage.. for him to store all his tools.. and after he finished it.. woah.. the garage is stunnigly clean… Totally proud of him.

And I guess that’s about it for this week… Not alot has happened this week. Well, apart from G gone missing. His sight is not there… He must have been locked in his vault… or his hell hounds got really hungry…

So I guess I’ll write more when I have more to write about.. ^_^

I’ve come up with a new concept. Hopefully it’ll be a good one.. It’s called Sunday Round-up, and by that I mean that every Sunday I write about what has happened through the week. It doesn’t mean that I’ll blog ONLY on Sundays; I’ll still blog when I feel like it and I’ll still do reviews. It’s just that now I’ll blog on Sunday about what happened… and add things I haven’t blogged about earlier.
Like… I haven’t blogged yet about the interview I had on Thursday… with the gambling cafe, legal, of course, where I applied for a job.
The interview itself went great. We talked for over two hours about things. She talked about things relevant to the job, asked questions etc, and I answered questions, asked questions etc. She was great.
However, there were some things that didn’t sit well with me. Such as… the salary. 75 Nkr during training and 100Nkr as regular salary after the training was done. So… that’s crap salary. The second thing is that with the gambling/lottery/betting registers; if there are money missing from them, you have to pay out of your own pocket.
Luckily I talked to the course leader about it, and she said that there were several things that were illegal. Like the low pay… because it doesn’t, or she, rather, doesn’t have wage agreement. There are laws here that I can’t talk about, because I have NO idea what they say, etc. But wage agreement is a good thing. It takes care of the people working at a place, and if you have prior knowledge/have worked at a cafe or depending on how old you are… THIS sets the pay you get, NOT the owner of said store/cafe etc. At least I think that’s right… lol
So, it doesn’t seem like she has heard of it… although I’m sure she has… but she did say that she couldn’t afford paying more at the moment. Which really sucks for her.. because that means she has to work there all by herself… which she didn’t want to do…
The course leader also said that the workplace lady has NO right to make people sign a contract saying that they have to pay out of their own pocket if money is missing from the register. So she suggested that I think about it, and I have… I’m really glad that I brought up the interview and everything else. It has helped me make a really hard decision.
I was very conflicted when it came to weather or not I should take the job; I didn’t feel like it was a job that would be good for me, so to speak, and I was struggling with myself on figuring out what to do. So I settled my mind on the fact that I had two weeks to figure out what to do. But after I talked with three different people and all of them said “listen to your gut” I’ve made my mind up. Now all I have to do is figure out what to tell her IF she calls and asks if I want the job.
I know I’ve been raving like I already got the job, I didn’t. I was spazzing, I think, because I didn’t want to take the job, even though I handed in a application.
And it’s not like I have tons of job offers lined up, but I don’t think I’m willing to sacrifice my sense of self. And this job really seems dodgy. I’m sure she’s had her reasons to fire people in the past, but I’m also sure some of the people have quit for some reason or another.
So yeah… to be continued on this one… the job thing, not the blog entry on this subject matter… lol

As you might have guessed I’ve been sent to yet another course. It’s a 4 week long one, which isn’t that bad. Like, I get to go home at 3pm every day.. and I get to stay at home during the weekends, so it’s not like I’ve been shipped of to Azerbaijan…
But yeah.. on Thursday, again.. everything happens on Thursdays… I had to walk to the course… and I haven’t moved like that in… ages… so my legs are all “Oh no… no thank you…” now…
And my Jan’s massage pillow is really hurting my legs when I try it… but it’s a good hurt…

Well, I should really start at the beginning of the week, really.
On Monday I started the course. I was really pissed, I guess, because I didn’t want to go.. but as I’ve said before.. Hey, free money… and I need new bras, so yay…
It seems like I really don’t have anything to worry about.. maybe a little.. but as long as I stay head strong, I’ll make it through again.. lol

On Tuesday… nothing happened. Not that I can remember, anyway…

On Wednesday nothing happened again… I went to course, did what was asked of me.. well, almost..
I found out that ages ago I registered at Manpower and Adecco, two temp agencies… you might have heard of Manpower, they are global…
Anyway… they, the course leaders, there are two ; Sverke and Mona Lisa (seriously.. that’s her name.. lol.. easy to remember XD) and they are both great. I knew Sverke from the last course I was in, and I remember him being cool… and he’s still cool… and so is she… I think I like this better than the last course, actually. I don’t want to badmouth people, but the course leader leader from the other course… he was too “So tell me what we can do for you? What do you need? TELL ME WHAT YOU FEEL!” type guy, almost running after you for you to let him help you, and it didn’t work well with me.  I’m more like “just leave me alone and let me do thing my way, and if I need help I’ll come to you…”
So yeah… this should be good.. But it’s still just the first week… I’ll let you know at the end of next week if I still feel the same.. lol

On Thursday I had the interview thing, and you already know that…

On Friday we had a lunch at the course… Like huge lunch.. smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, ham and cheese… and dessert.. one of the ones attending the course made a cake.. but it was a little too sweet for me…
And we had doughnuts… there were leftovers and Mona Lisa gave me three… ^_^
Yes, I’m teachers pet… ^_^
They were very good ^_^

That’s been pretty much my week..
Oh, and there was the whole ugly incident with Charlton Heston on the movie site, but no need to rehash that, so just leave it and we’re moving along!!!! *runs*

if not then.. you’ll have to suffer though every Sunday.. haha
So yeah… That’s been my week.. Hope yours has been an eventful one too… if not.. Well, there’s always next week..
